the big nothing

Doing nothing. It sounds easier than it is. For many days now I try to do nothing for two minutes a day. To become more familiar with this emptiness, this interspace that happens between action and reaction and that can be found in my work. During these 2 minutes I record myself. Afterwards I make notes.

In my thesis I write about my journey from being Lost in Latency to being Found in Latency, as the latency (delay) created when communicating through distancing devices, also creates space for stillness, thoughts and ideas.

Defining my graduation project, by analyzing the project’s title, and emphasizing this “interspace” where a lot of communication gets lost when using “distancing devices” that create the delay in the dialogue.
